The Barnyard Theatre Productions introduces a tribute to two of the most influential pop groups of our time, namely the Swedish pop sensation ABBA and the singing trio of brothers known as The Bee Gees.

Beyond the tight pants, blow-dried hair and sequins, it is the catchy song hooks, simple lyrics and beautiful melodies of the superbly crafted songs which continue to endure more than 30 years later.

Super Troupers features an awesome 10 piece cast that covers all the hits of the two super groups starting with the early days of The Bee Gees in the late sixties with harmonic soft rock hits such as Words, I've Gotta Get a Massage to You, Massachusetts, New York Mining Disaster and many more.

This spectacular show then features songs from the days when ABBA lit up the music scene with their first hits Ring Ring and Waterloo after which time they followed on with countless pop anthems such as Money, Money, Money, Dancing Queen, Voulez-Vous, Mamma Mia, Knowing Me, Knowing You, I Have A Dream and many more.

The cast do an authentic impersonation of Barry Gibb's falsetto as they go on to re-ignite the disco groove with hits like You Should Be Dancing, Stayin' Alive, Night Fever, Tragedy and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) and more. Super Troupers showcases the excellent song writing skills of these two huge groups, you can look forward to Benny and Björn's classics; One Night in Bangkok and I know Him So Well and also The Gibb Brothers' number one's including Islands in the Stream, Heartbreaker, If I Can't Have You, Chain Reaction and Grease.

Written and Directed by Bronwyn Evans for The Barnyard Productions The teen scene has been dominating the music world lately with wholesome, lively and vibrant young stars such as Miley Cyrus & the Hannah Montana phenomena which is taking the world by storm. Also featured in the show will be music from The Jonas Brothers, those High School Musical kids and Hilary Duff's Lizzy McGuire to name but a few. The Barnyard is therefore proud to present our own multi-talented young stars paying tribute to the kids that rock!
